Colorado judge to soon announce Ward Churchill’s academic future

Here’s a video of the moment when University of Colorado officials announced their decision to fire Churchill for academic misconduct. A district judge is expected to have a hearing in early July to determine whether the University of Colorado should rehire former professor Ward Churchill.Meanwhile, many prominent, high-profile  Native leaders and other scholars have submitted affidavits to voice objections to Churchill’s possible rehiring at CU.

Jodi has won top journalism awards from mainstream and Native press organizations. She earned her journalism degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
