The United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, N.D. has an application deadline of Dec. 4, 2009. The training lasts about four months. And it’s free. And a stipend is also available to successful candidates. What is an energy auditor? It’s a skill that calls for the monitoring of energy use in a home or building. The goal is to find the most cost effective ways of using energy. As full-time energy consumers, it behooves all of us to become more aware of the energy efficiency of our homes. Do yourself and your community a favor and learn a skill that could lead to greater energy-use efficiency. The flier has a phone number to call if you have any questions.
