FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEToronto, September 7, 2012 – Ron Jamieson and Erin Meehan, Co-Chairs of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business are pleased to the announce the appointment of JP Gladu as President and CEO.JP was most recently the President and CEO of Papasay Management Corporation, the economic arm of Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek First Nation in Ontario. He has led a number of resource development projects including a $7 million dollar sawmill, a $20 million pellet mill capable of producing over 67,000 tons of green energy annually. JP has produced a number of publications related to First Nations Issues including: Forest Certification, Native Values Collection, Biofuel Opportunities, First Nation community land use plans, Criteria and Indicators for Sustainable Forestry, and Cedar Product development. He was recently recognized as a Northern Leader by Northern Ontario Business.read more
