In the eyes of many in her Manitoba band, Phyllis Sutherland has betrayed the cause of First Nations autonomy. CBC Radio’s Sunday Edition with host Michael Enright features Karin Wells’s documentary Phyllis and the Chief, which follows Sutherland as she supports a federal bill aiming to shed light on First Nations’ spending.
