Bis-Man area farmers markets offer local food and community events

Residents have several opportunities to shop locally this season at farmers markets in Bismarck, Mandan and Lincoln. The guide lists BisMarket, the Bismarck Farmers Market, Sunday Social Market, Lincoln Farmers Market Days and the Mandan Farmers Market. Markets feature locally grown produce, meats, baked goods and handcrafted products, with operating days and seasons varying by location.

Sseveral markets also offer additional community features. BisMarket accepts SNAP benefits and SNAP Scrip and includes live entertainment, children's activities and a fresh food donation site. The Bismarck Farmers Market also accepts SNAP and SNAP Scrip. Sunday Social Market features local vendors, food trucks and live entertainment, while Lincoln Farmers Market Days and the Mandan Farmers Market highlight locally produced food and goods during their seasonal schedules.
