Common Grounds Group Creates Space For Tenants To Discuss Housing Struggles
Weekly gathering at Sacred Pipe Resource Center invites renters to share experiences and connect with community support

A new weekly gathering in Bismarck is offering tenants a space to discuss housing-related concerns and connect with others facing similar challenges, according to information shared by organizers. The group, called “Common Grounds: Voices of Tenants,” is scheduled to meet Fridays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Sacred Pipe Resource Center, 925 Basin Ave., Suite 5. Organizers said the meetings are intended to provide “a safe space to talk tenant struggles” and encourage community discussion over coffee and donuts.
The flyer shared by organizers includes messages such as “Housing is a human right,” “Safety over slumlords” and “Predatory landlords.” Organizers said people who have experienced housing issues are encouraged to attend. Additional information is available through Ashley at Sacred Pipe Resource Center.
