NDCA grant showcase on Indigenous teachings set for April 21

A North Dakota Council on the Arts grant showcase focused on Indigenous teachings is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Sacred Pipe Resource Center, 925 Basin Ave., Suite 5, according to event materials. The session will feature Misty Heiden and Justine Two Lodge discussing their work funded under a grant supporting apprentices and master artists.

Heiden and Two Lodge created dentallium capes and other crafts, which will be presented during the session, according to event materials. A meal will be provided and no registration is required. For more information, organizers say attendees can call 701-663-3886 or email native@sacredpipe.net.
