Little Shell Celebration announces 2026 Antelope Society powwow

The Antelope Society will host the 2026 Little Shell Celebration from Aug. 6-9 at the Antelope Society Arbor in Four Bears Park in New Town, North Dakota, according to the event announcement. The four-day celebration includes daily grand entries, dance contests for multiple age divisions, a drum split plus singing contest and special contests throughout the weekend. Thursday is designated as U.S. Indian Scout Day, with additional veterans recognition scheduled Friday through Sunday, according to the announcement.

Host drums are Mandaree, Little Shell and Oakdalee. The celebration also includes community feeds, giveaways, a warriors walk, a parade and contests for dancers ranging from junior to senior adult divisions.
