Mandaree Celebration Continues Through July 19 With Powwow, Rodeo And Community Events
Four-day event features dancing competitions, a parade, rodeo, races and community activities

The 2026 Mandaree Celebration continues through Sunday, July 19, in Mandaree, according to the official event flyer. The four-day event includes daily flag-raising ceremonies, a powwow, a rodeo, grand entries, hand game competitions, relay races, a basketball tournament, youth activities and community events. The flyer lists grand entries at 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday. Singing contests, dance competitions and drum contests also are scheduled throughout the weekend.
This year’s celebration is themed “Home of the Hidatsa” and recognizes veterans. The flyer identifies Jordan Rose Fox as head woman dancer, Lane Sandish as head man dancer, Princess Paisley Lincoln as Mandaree Rodeo Queen and Princess, and Jurnee DuBois as junior princess. The flyer states that all dates and times are subject to change.
