Food Sovereigntymha Traditional Food And Seed Summit Set For May 18
The NHS College event will include presentations, demonstrations, seed sharing and a tour of Twin Buttes food sovereignty initiatives.

NHS College will host the MHA Traditional Food and Seed Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 18, at Twin Buttes Wellness Center, according to an event flyer.
The summit schedule includes presentations on wild game hunting and fishing, multigenerational gardening, Twin Buttes Garden, basket making, traditional tool making, food sovereignty initiatives and a keynote by Amy Mossett. The event also includes a show and tell of seeds and learning circles, seed sharing and a tour of Twin Buttes food sovereignty initiatives. Registration is free, and a virtual option is available through registration. CEUs are available.
