Day camp in New Town will combine STEM activities with cultural sessions for students entering grades 6-8

NHSC to host middle school STEM Culture Camp in June

Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College will host a STEM Culture Camp for middle school students June 15-19 at the NHSC campus in New Town, according to camp materials released by the college. The day camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 301 College Drive.

Students entering grades 6-8 are eligible to apply for the camp, which will include hands-on activities with professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, according to the announcement. Cultural sessions led by MHA community members will also take place throughout the week. Organizers said applications will remain open until all 30 spots are filled. Applications are available here.
