Event at AJ Agard Multi Cultural Center will bring together partners across Oceti Sakowin homelands
The Oceti Sakowin Regional Climate Collaborative is scheduled for May 21, 2026, at the AJ Agard Multi Cultural Center, 1354 Buffalo Ave., Fort Yates, North Dakota, according to an event flyer. The gathering will include leaders, communities, institutions and partners connected to the Oceti Sakowin homelands.
The collaborative aims to advance shared priorities rooted in sovereignty, culture, stewardship and future generations, according to event information. The initiative supports economic opportunity, education, environmental resilience and nation-to-nation partnerships grounded in the values of the Seven Council Fires.
