Public Invited To Create Tiles For New Sculpture At D&n Cinematics
Community event will contribute clay tiles to “Hoodoo Herd” sculpture planned for 2027

Artists Ryah Christensen and Sun McColgin will host a community art event inviting participants to create sgraffito tiles for a new public sculpture, according to an event flyer. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at D&N Cinematics.
Organizers said the tiles will become part of “Hoodoo Herd,” a sculpture that will feature community-created pieces reflecting stories and connections to the North Dakota landscape. The sculpture is expected to be completed in spring 2027, according to the flyer. Participants are encouraged to share personal stories through clay as part of the project.
