Twin Buttes Powwow Scheduled For Father’s Day Weekend
Three-day event will feature dance competitions, singing contests and special activities June 19-21 in Twin Buttes

The 2026 Twin Buttes Powwow is scheduled for June 19-21 in Twin Buttes, according to an event flyer. The event, billed as the “Home of the Champions,” will include grand entries at 7 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The flyer lists Southern Cree of Rocky Boy, Montana, as the host drum, with Ridge Road serving as the local host drum Friday, Oakdale on Saturday and Shell Creek on Sunday.
According to the flyer, the powwow will feature dance and singing contests, special events, veterans flag raisings and prize categories for adults, teens, juniors and Golden Ages participants. The flyer also lists youth grand entry at 7 p.m. Thursday and includes vendor registration information. Powwow activities will take place throughout Father’s Day weekend in Twin Buttes.
