Ute Nation to honor warbonnets during Fourth of July powwow celebration

The Ute Nation will hold a Honoring of the Warbonnets ceremony before grand entry during its Fourth of July Pow-Wow Celebration on July 3 in Fort Duchesne, Utah. According to the event announcement, the ceremony will recognize warbonnet recipients as part of the celebration.

The event is hosted by Joy and Jonas Grant Bullethead Sr., according to the announcement. The Honoring of the Warbonnets will take place before grand entry during the Ute Nation Fourth of July Pow-Wow Celebration in Fort Duchesne.
