CHARLESTON, S.C. – A ruling that sent a 3-year-old Native American girl back to Oklahoma from her adoptive South Carolina family is being appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Washington, D.C., attorney Lisa Blatt will join the legal team for the adoption case involving the young girl, Veronica; her adoptive parents; her biological father, Dusten Brown of the Bartlesville area; and the Cherokee Nation.
