ACLU warns Indigenous people in North Dakota to carry ID amid ICE reports

The ACLU of North Dakota is advising Indigenous residents, especially those near the Fort Berthold Reservation, to carry both state and tribal IDs amid reports of heightened ICE activity. With concerns over mistaken arrests, the ACLU stresses that having proof of U.S. citizenship could prevent wrongful detention.
