MHA Nation member Ella Weber graduates from Princeton University

Ella Weber, a member of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation, recently graduated from Princeton University, according to a report by KMOT. To her knowledge, she is the first member of the Three Affiliated Tribes to graduate from the Ivy League institution in New Jersey. Weber, who grew up in Crookston, Minnesota, said she initially planned to study astrophysics but shifted her focus to health and housing policy. She received a full-ride scholarship and will work at The Wilderness Society, a conservation organization, for the next two years.
