Senators reintroduce bipartisan bill to strengthen public safety in Indian Country
U.S. Senators Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.), John Hoeven (R-N.D.), Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), and Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) reintroduced the BADGES for Native Communities Act to enhance law enforcement resources in Tribal communities. The legislation also focuses on increasing Tribal access to national databases and providing wellness programs for law enforcement.
