Minot cabs face more calls and longer drives – even to Minnesota – from oil boom

Minot taxi companies are struggling with longer drive times, more calls for service and fares that take cabs as far as Minnesota, the Minot Daily News reports.
The Bakken oil field boom has brought more people to the region, more flights to Minot’s airport and more hotels to the city, all of which are driving demand for Minot taxi service.
