N’chi Wanapum is a Native community canoe family in Warm Springs, where students and elders learn from each other in a circle of kinship. During weekly meetings, the group trains for an annual two- to three-week canoe journey, called "Tribal Community to Community by Way of the Canoe," which is a life-changing experience for the participants. read more
