Sitting Bull Honor Ride Meeting Set For April 25 In Fort Yates
Community gathering at Wite Building will share details on upcoming Tatanka Iyotake Honor Ride and include cultural activities

A community gathering and planning meeting for the Sitting Bull Honor Ride is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST at the Wite Community Building in Fort Yates, North Dakota, according to an event flyer. The meeting is intended to honor Sitting Bull and provide information about the upcoming Tatanka Iyotake Honor Ride, set for June 7-11, 2026, from Poplar, Montana, to Fort Buford, North Dakota.
The flyer states the gathering will include a talking circle, pipe ceremony and offering, Honor Ride presentation and a meal.
