With more than 500,000 female babies (future women) aborted every year in the United States, enthusiastically supported by the Democratic National Convention’s platform, I am amazed that Leonard Pitts Jr. has the nerve to claim that “President Obama and the Democratic Party stand on the right side of the ‘War on Women,’ ” [“Walking the gantlet at the Democratic National Convention,” Opinion, Sept. 7].
