New multimedia exhibit opens the door to parkÂ’s human and natural history
Kouchibouguac, New Brunswick, September 1, 2012 — The Honourable Peter Kent, CanadaÂ’s Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada officially announced the inauguration new exhibits on the human and natural history at Kouchibouguac National Park, including the commemoration of its former residents and communities.
“The Government of Canada is proud to officially open the renewed visitor information and interpretation centre, and the new exhibit and film honouring the former residents and communities of Kouchibouguac National Park, including the original Mi’kmaq inhabitants.” said Minister Kent. “This permanent exhibit will present important stories on the national park’s natural and human history allowing the memories of the park’s former residents and communities to be honoured and shared with respect.”read more
