Native Wellness Institute: Weaving our stories

This story was filed on August 27, 2009

Our Native communities need healthy people if we are to break through some destructive life patterns that can take us away from living a holistic lifestyle. I applaud all the people out there working to make our tribal communities whole again through language, prayer, songs and ceremony. The Native Wellness Institute has organized a conference Sept. 15-16 at the Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota. The theme is about weaving our stories.
