Senate confirms Washburn to Indian Affairs post

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—The U.S. Senate has confirmed a member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma who is currently the dean of the University of New Mexico Law School to oversee the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
