U.S. Bank debuts mobile photo bill pay

U.S. Bank customers can now pay a bill by taking a photo of it with their smartphone.

The bank, a unit of Minneaplis-based U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB), says it’s the first major bank in the United States to offer the mobile photo bill pay service, which auto-populates a payment form with information from the photo of the paper invoice.
